   Yes you can take iodine in pill form as well as lugols iodine (liquid form) I take three drops a day in a glass of water or OJ every morning. There is no reason to take extra salt.

   I don’t have any disease other than diabetes but thought I’d try anyway.

   This most vital substance for the Human Body deals with a massive complex of problems and perfect running of the body. People are extremely deficient in Iodine and need to top themselves up. Before anyone rushes in, they should understand the subject completely first. Iodine is a powerful healing aid but is also powerful in giving you a world of hurt if you screw up.

   I wouldn’t want more added to salt. That would mean that the women who didn’t use much salt would still be low, but those who used a lot could end up with not only high blood pressure but also iodine poisoning.

   Why can’t people just take iodine pills?
   Can iodine be absorbed through the skin if put it on your skin?

   How do people know if they’re short of iodine? I’ve seen very few cancerous women with goiter. I think most thyroid problems are caused by extra fluoride in water.
